- Grand Parade: A vibrant procession down Main Street featuring floats, marching bands, local organizations, and community members.
- Festival Activities: Enjoy live music, delicious food vendors, Maypole Dancers, exciting games and activities for all ages, a Fun Run, a Car Show, and more at Veteran's Memorial Park. Annual Fishing tournament at Deep Bay starting at 5:30am.
- Community Spirit: Experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this long-standing community event, celebrating spring and fostering local pride.

Parade
The Oroville May Day Parade is the centerpiece of the annual festival. A true celebration of spring and Oroville, the parade is a fun and lively event for all ages.
Bass Fishing Tournament
The Oroville May Day Festival includes a bass tournament, drawing anglers from the region to compete for prizes and bragging rights. This year's tournament promises exciting action as participants take to the local waters, testing their skills and knowledge of the lake in pursuit of the biggest catch. Whether you're a seasoned fisherman or just enjoy watching the weigh-ins, the bass tournament adds another layer of excitement to the festival.
46th Annual Fun Run
Join us for a beloved Oroville tradition, the May Festival Fun Run! For 46 years, this event, founded by Kathy and Glen Hughes, has brought friends and family together – some reuniting after years apart! Whether you're strolling the 2-mile course or tackling the 5k, you'll be part of a vibrant community celebration. All participants receive awards or ribbons for 1st-3rd place. Come for the run, stay for the camaraderie!
